HISTORY!
We have owned and operated Your Mountain Realty since July 1, 2003. We were licenced with another Broker for approximately 2 1/2 years in Banner Elk, NC, before opening our own company. We had owned and operated USA Realty, Inc. in Jacksonville, Fla. since 1988; however, that corporation is now inactive at this time. We were licensed with Watson Realty in Jacksonville, Fla., before opening USA Realty, Inc.
Certifications and Recognitions:Clifton (Clif) M. Surrency, Jr., BROKER IN CHARGE, Your Mountain Realty, and June Carolyn Surrency, BROKER Assistant, Your Mountain Realty. Clif is a member of the National Association of Realtors, The North Carolina Association of Realtors, The High Country Association of Realtors and the Multiple Listing Service (MLS). Clif's Fla. Broker's license is presently inactive. Clif and Carolyn have had many years of experience rehabing houses to re-sell for "Top Dollar", and creative Real Estate Investing.
Agents
We are a Husband and Wife team, with Clif being the Broker in Charge of Your Mountain Realty and Carolyn as his Broker Assistant. Carolyn has an active Broker's License for the State of North Carolina, but does not belong to any Realtor's groups. Clif will work hard for you as a "Buyer's Agent", "Dual Agent" or "Seller's Agent".
Clif had a Florida contractor's licence and built homes in Jacksonville, Fla.under the name of "Clifton's Homes"; however, he did not keep the Florida license current. Clif is now a Licensed General Building Contractor in the State of North Carolina, License #63809. He also does business under the name of "Ol' Mountain Homes", which is also a Licensed Contractor #65270. Independent of Your Mountain Realty, Carolyn is a Representative for "Eagles Nest Homes, Inc.". These homes are Panelized Homes and are considered by the bank as "Stick Built". Clif does "BUYER AGENCY" on all listings that are listed with another Broker, and "DUAL AGENCY" or "SELLER AGENCY" on listings that are listed in his office.
